Wi-Fi is convenient but shares bandwidth across every connected device and is more exposed to interference from walls and other networks. Structured cabling gives fixed workstations, servers and CCTV recorders a dedicated, stable connection, which matters for anything that can't afford dropouts. Most offices use a mix: structured cabling to desks and network equipment, Wi-Fi for mobile devices and guests. We plan this during the site survey based on your layout and device count.
A DVR (Digital Video Recorder) processes footage from analog cameras and typically needs a separate cable for power and video. An NVR (Network Video Recorder) works with IP cameras that send digital footage over a network cable, generally giving higher resolution and simpler cabling. We recommend the system type based on your building's existing wiring and the image quality you need.
